Depends how much documentation there is for the system needing to be repaired.

I had no clue how to install it, but then I read the manual I downloaded for it at hp.com and it showed me how to install my 100$ 15" laptop screen I got off Ebay.

I encourage you to do the same.

i have a ibm t43p model 2668-76u

the lcd is a LCD panel SXGA+

the part number for the lcd is 92P6737

i found this place that sells that exact screen for $415
http://www.lcds4less.com/ibm-laptop-lcd-screens/92P6737.shtml

now, if anyone can find me a sxga+ 14.1 inch screen for cheaper then show me

All I did was search for the part number. I'll even install it for a flat fee of $60.

it's not that hard to put in...but you're kind of screwed if you mess up

Next time look up your computer at your manufacturers website...most of them provide detailed documentation on how to replace parts.
