with the 4.0

I really like the LR3, but I'm kinda iffy on the fuel effeciency and the reliability. Will this be a garage queen or are the new ones any better?

Someone on here always talks about rovers but i cant remember their sn, hopefully they will reply.

drove one as a rental a few weeks ago - great ride - nice amenities - i liked the multiple sky view deal with sunshade

if i was paying gas though i'd have been kinda pissed - averaged 14mpg according to the onboard computer

Ouch.
Yeah I guess I can afford paying a premium for gas, but 14mpg for a 4.0 is redamndiculous.

Anyone know about the reliability.

Yeah, about 20 people on here have LR3's outside their dorm.

Dont bother getting any V6 Land Rover, its like putting a lawnmower engine in a Suburban and trying to do anything but cut grass.

A lot of people on this site are older or at least more up to date reading all the car reviews and stuff. If you'll notice I never only asked for 1st hand experience, I just wanted comments on their reliability. As I read through the comments I can decide how much weight I give a persons opinion. For example, right now I am completely dismissing you as an asshole.

And the one I could get is a 4.0, thats why I asked about that.

its v8 w/ no real power and shitty mpg.....i just got a guzzler myself though - 2005 grand cherokee....but it is 330 hp and 375 lb/ft so i dont feel too bad about filling it up....the land rover reliability is enough to scare me off....i looked at them for myself....i give it a thumbs down...
