the deadline for this is days away and i need info. i've gotten packages from 2-3 different people and they don't really give you any straight answers. this is my main question though, if i consolidate will i forfeit my grace period? 6/29/2006 1:36:56 PM |

You have 12 business hours to get this done ... why are you asking TWW ... start making some phone calls. 6/29/2006 1:43:38 PM |

if you consolidate, you begin payment the next month...so yes, you give up the grace period. 6/29/2006 1:46:35 PM |

yes, you give upt he grace period, however, you can still get a hardship deference. Basically, When I graduate school, I will have to prepare for the bar and will not be employed till Septemberish. The Dean of the School will write a letter to give me 6 months to gain employment before I enter repayment.
If you are still in school, you can re defer your loans until you graduate.
