just got me a G15 and G7, need help programming the G-keys on the keyboard to be a shortcut to "show desktop", "my computer", "my documents", "add-remove programs" and notepad. as for the mouse, i can't figure out how to set the wheel, when clicked (pushed down lol) to close tabs in firefox.

also for the keyboard, it comes with software to check POP3 email, i want to set it up to check outlook or webmail. (which are IMAP). any clue as to how?

right click the show desktop icon, create a new shortcut to it, you need to do this for the next step

right click on the shortcut to the show desktop. there you can input a keyboard shortcut for it.

you can set keyboard combos for all that shit (some are even standard, like Windows + d for desktop)

theres no sense in setting up g buttons or whatever when you can just use keyboard shortcuts

I have a g15 and ran into the same issue with ncsu email so I did this. Get a free yahoo account (they're like 2gb now). Get this program called ypop! and set that up. Then set a server side rule in webmail to forward a copy to everything to yahoo. Set the keyboard's software to 127.0.0.1 for pop, with your yahoo credentials.

Anybody picked up their latest MX mouse? That thing is like hand candy.

Which one? The master? That looks nice. Just saw that they updated the MX Anywhere mouse with bluetooth! I hate using that unifying receiver on my laptop as it gets caught on things. Using a Logitech m557 bluetooth mouse but it doesn't work on all surfaces and doesn't have the back/forward side buttons. Ordered one of these new ones. Will report back. I loved the first version I had for a while.

Still don't think they have made a better keyboard than the DiNovo Edge. Would've been nice for them to come out with a v2. What's that about?

BTW the MX Anywhere V2 is awesome. Like V1 it works on almost any surface and the addition of Bluetooth is awesome. Finally I don't have to have that annoying receiver on the side of my laptop and it frees up a USB port.

My MX Revolution finally started to act up after using it daily for 7+ years. Thinking about getting the MX Master

I ended up taking the MX Master back, only because my employer won't let us install the Logitech software on the laptops. It was a really nice mouse, but without being able to customize the buttons, I couldn't justify the cost of replacing an MX Performance.

Maybe when it goes on sale I'll pick it up again.

^^^ I like mine as well.

However, wtf were they thinking not including a case or sleeve in the box? I gave my V1 to my father, and of course gave him my sleeve with it.

It's a travel mouse, but no case? I'm just supposed to drop this into my bag unprotected? Seems lame for a $75+ mouse.

And searching around, I don't see any aftermarket sleeves that aren't made specifically for other mice that don't look like crap.

Oh well.

Yeah that was a disappointment. Luckily I kept my V1 sleeve.
