Im renting out one of the bedrooms in a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse on Champion Ct (this is the first right on avent ferry, across from burger king. Room is 12x11, with a walk in closet and a very large window facing east (you can see mission valley). You'll be sharing a bathroom with another (well kept) roommate. Condo is in good condition.
Current tennants are a couple of laid back undergrads who enjoy Cookout, video games, drinking and Cookout. We keep it fairly clean. We dont have wild parties (though late-night drinking with a few pals does happen sometimes). If you smoke, you'll have to keep it limited to the back patio. Girlfriends/boyfriends are fine as long as they arent sleeping over more than 3 nights a week. We'd prefer a fellow student, but anyone born after 1975 is fine. Pets under 20lbs are allowed.
Townhouse is a 10 minute walk from Carmicheal Gym, and a 2 minute walk from the avent ferry bus stop across from mission valley (there is a bus stop on either side of the street so you can catch it inbound OR outbound). You also get a parking space.
Rent is $275 plus utilities (which is usually around $40-60 a month). Utilities include water, gas, electricity, roadrunner and cable tv. Deposit is $166.66 (1/3 of $500). Along with the normal deposit for the townhouse, I ask that you either co-sign the lease or give me $275 (one months rent) as insurance. This is a deposit that will be returned to you when you leave, or can be used to pay your final month's rent. Its a 1-year lease starting the begininng of August, but if you can find someone to take over your lease in january or may, thats fine. If neither of these options appeal to you, Im perfectly willing to work something out.
