My external hard drive got wet in that flash flood several weeks ago. Ive been letting it dry out and tried plugging it just now and nothing happened. It doesn't appear to work. Any hope for all the information that I have on it?? I will pay someone to get it off of there if there is.

thanks!

It's possible that only the power supply of the external drive is damaged. You should try removing the hard drive from the enclosure and connecting it to a computer.

I severely doubt, the inside of the hardrive is damaged unless you cracked the case upon and burnt it. Data recoverly will be possible with the proper hardware.
