a zonealarm keeps popping up on my computer telling me that a program called "thnall1z.exe" is trying to access the internet. i searched my C: drive for the program name and several matches came up which i deleted. this didn't work because it keeps coming back. Is this a virus, spyware, etc? How do I get rid of it?

I've googled and looked over the hits i got and couldn't really understand the steps they were telling me to take to remove it completely.
