for real. the reason that they don't get picked in the BCS are because MOST of the time they don't deserve it. They play second and third tier teams all season and claim to be the best in the nation. Not happenin for me.

i remember how happy i was that BYU lost in 2001

they were 12-0 and all anyone would talk about was how BYU was getting screwed

their last game was at hawaii, and all the talking heads were saying "here we go, BYU is gonna go 13-0 and get screwed out of the BCS, what a shame" etc

and then hawaii hung SEVENTY-TWO POINTS on them

and then BYU lost their bowl game to louisville

you didn't hear too much whining about "respect" after the way that ended up

Why would it be irrelevant?
If the BCS screwed them, they shouldn't (still) be whining about not getting into a BCS bowl game. I thought that would be clear enough.
