i need to make it so I can adjust the volume Up and Down with this gateway keyboard I have. It has a bunch of hotkeys on the top edge for me to adjust volume, mute, shortcuts to various programs, and CD playing buttons. None of these shortcut keys work, and I was wondering how I can set them up in win XP so i can use all of them. mainly I just want the volume keys and mute button to work.

thanks for the help

You can probably download software from gateway to make them work. Go to their site, find their support section, and search for the keyboard model.

The software for the keyboard is on the Gateway Drivers CD so I imagine it is also available for download.
