He hasn't expressed any desire whatsoever to stray from the music biz. In fact, he's spent much of his honeymoon recording in studios on the third floor of a Japanese mega-mall for $5 an hour. "All this year, I've been feeling pretty creative and excited, so I've been writing a lot," Cuomo explained. "I don't know what'll happen with these songs - if anything - I just sort of write them and I can't stop. I certainly don't see them becoming Weezer songs, and I don't really see the point of a solo career. So we'll just have to see." Two song titles include "Heart Songs" (about the artists and records that have been influential to Cuomo's life, including Gordon Lightfoot's "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and Nirvana's Nevermind) and "Our Time Will Come" (about the U.S. men's soccer team, eek). Keep an eye on Cuomo's MySpace for some of those new tracks. We're not guaranteeing anything, but it's clear that he keeps up with the website; the 2006 Harvard grad recently changed his student status to "Alumni" and his relationship status to "Married". =w="

^^^ For me, I loved the Blue album, aswell as Pinkerton. So when the next couple of albums came out, I tried SO HARD to convince myself that they were good; I felt like I was trying to talk myself into liking the newer stuff, simply because it was Weezer. But, I just didn't dig it.

Weezer is my favorite band and has been for a decade now... But I've found myself caring less and less about them with each album that they've produced since returning from their hiatus 6 years ago.

Wow, look at all the music snobs in here!

I'm actually pretty pissed about this. I really wanted to see them in concert again. Last time I saw them in concert was a Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte right after Pinkerton came out.

Every other time they've gone on tour I've been busy during the tour dates

I admit that the first 2 albums are the best, but I also think highly of the other 3.

I bought all the albums.

I think Green would be just fine if it wasn't Weezer. There are some decent hooks, and as a 25-minute sugar album it works...but not as a Weezer album.

Maladroit has a few decent songs, but a few stinkers, too.

Make Believe is 90% shit.

From a band that made two essentially perfect rock albums that are completely different, I expect more and I keep getting less, and THAT is why people are pissed.
