ok so recently my trannys been actin up and i dont wanna get ripped off... while driving the gear will all of sudden kick in to L or 3 mode...could this be adjusted? or linkage problem?... or new transmission? if so how difficult is it to replace? its a 95 dodgestratus

Like the shifter will all of a sudden kick lower, or the actual tranny drops a gear?

Yeah I know it's a piece of shit car, but money's a little tight and if I'm able to fix it and possibly for cheap, it would be a plus...the gear drops, not the shifter...

BTW thanks for your help to those that simply wasted space on a thread...
