Im interested in whether or not I can use the auxillary input in my factory stereo and run a line out that i can plug into an mp3 player. Anyone have experience with this, or know if its possible? I have a 05 Focus, which i know has an aux input in the back, but I dont know what kind of connectors I would need not having fucked around with car stereos before. A web search pulled up nothing significant.

I also get the impression I'll need to get some of the stereo remover tools, but if anyone knows a way around these, or have some I can borrow, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I've used coat hangers to pull out Ford stereos too, but the tool is only a few bucks at Autozone if you can find it in stock.
