Well, I've actually been over to these apartments and they're very nice and spacious. However, I decided not to live there because it was a little out of my price range. It always bothered me how they make a point to say "free tanning!" when about 99% of the people I know couldn't care less about that.

But i'm not trying to talk crap, I just found it a little annoying. This is a nice place though and people should check it out. It has my seal of approval, minus it being a hair on the pricey side, but at least you don't have to worry with utilities.

^^ Sorry, but that place sucked, like 75% of my building moved out after the first yr being there, and this was when it was brand new.

I talked with a buddy of mine who lives at College Inn, and he used the whole "not dealing with utilities" as a plus. But what happens when you use less than the amount you pay for in utilities. Do you get any money back per month? Do they give you a breakdown of why they charge you what they do (for utilities)? I also heard that at other places if you go over what they think you'll spend in utilities, they just send you another bill?? So basically, the whole "writing one big check" seems shady to me. I'll take the 30 seconds to wrtie another check for utilities if it saves me ten/twenty/etc. bucks every month.

I think at the Creek we got 40 per roomate for power. We kept our place icey, and never had to deal with another bill. So writing one check for 404 wasn't bad. If I were to keep my a/c as low as I did at wolfcreek it would cost be a shit ton by paying the bill. So I do miss the one check and the skanks up at the pool.

we waste electricity like it is going out of style here at my apartment and have never went over the $40 a room price. I wash my g/f's and my clothes here, we run the air constantly and dont have to worry about it.

40 times 3 or 4. Because if it's 4, you're talking $160 per month. You couldn't try and use 100 for 1000 square feet between 4 people, so I'm asking, do they not give you anything back? The sending you a bill if you go over was only half of it, the other half was do they give you anything back that you don't use???

^Now i spend around 100 some months for a 2 person apt and thats with the air about 8 degrees higher then what I had it at Wolfcreek. So I think 4 people could go over 100 without trying that hard. But no they don't give you anything back, I don't even think they really track what each unit uses they probably get one huge bill for all the units.

If you have an AC system that is old (say 20 years), I can see, because they are not efficient in the least. But for two people to use 100, something else going on
