Does anybody actually use Python in production code? I'm working on some stuff in Python for a production app right now.

Its frustrating as hell to learn a new language until you get over the learning curve. I keep catching myself thinking "I could do this in C++, or Java (shudder)"

no one uses it in projects that cost money, it's a shame too. I like it way more than java

python is used heavily in my dept., especially to create filters
