Anybody interested in buying a very cheap minivan?
It runs great, good engine, good tranny.... but, it has a cosmetic issue - peeling paint and partly rusty roof...
I have owned it for five years, replaced water pump, battery, timing belt, and starter. This van served me right. The engine and transaxle are good.
I don't expect much... Anybody interested?

I can't believe I'm actually debating this and its only because my wife's VW golf has completely hit the shitter... Won't run and might not be worth the trouble... how much are you looking for?

oops
i forgot to mention that the windshield has got a line of crack... but it does not affect the sight... i have been driving with the crack for 2 years... the crack is just a line and it's on the passenger side.

a junkyard will pay $50 for it whether it works or not...they don't pay more if it runs, has extras, etc.

^ i see
your offer will be attractive with one more zero
make a reasonable offer and the van is yours.

if your van is just the base model, 4-cyl engine, 180k (15 years * 12,000 miles), with no special features, and in fair condition (which you've admitted it isn't), then it's only worth $450 according to kbb private party

if you get half of that on here, take it and run

donate it to the salvation army...you get a nice tax deduction with the donation (possibly more than your car is worth)

^ maybe you are right.
just some corrections:
mine is v6 and mileage is less than 140k

again, the car is good with new starter, new timing belt, new water pump...
most of all, good engine & tranny,
clean interior, it's only peeling paint and a crack in windshield

yes, it takes money to repaint and replace the windshield,
but only if you want a perfect exterior.
