This must be one of the parodies.
- We have large, conventional force committed long term in a country that was, at best, peripheral to the war on terrorism. - Both invasions were poorly planned, understaffed, and ineffective at preventing long, drawn out conflicts (most of the fighters and important guys got away). - Both military forces are a source of instability rather than stability in the occupied countries, highlighting a big divide between tactics and strategy (we might win every battle, but the Taliban is coming back in Afghanistan and the possibility of civil war in Iraq is stronger than ever). - Terrorists are out-innovating us in asymmetric warfare, forcing our bigger, slower forces and administrators to be purely reactive. - Iran, NK? Oh yeah, forgot about those. - Successful terrorism has appreciably increased since our military forces have gone into action (again, all the tactics but none of the strategy)

I'm not, I predicted before the election that Bush was going to win. I realized it after reading an article written by a democrat a few months before the election lamenting that Kerry was going to lose because an historical study found that an incumbent president has never lost as long as the GDP was sufficiently positive for at least 6 months prior to the election (or something like that).
He said it might have been coincidence, but for him he wasn't going to bet against such a strong correlation (turned out he was right).7/24/2006 9:06:22 AM |

the nonexistant threat that we rushed to war over, but Iran and North Korea have confirmed weapons programs and we should use diplomacy on. Its offensive to think that Clinton can get impeached for a blowjob, but starting a 500 billion dollar war on fabricated pretenses and causing thousands of needless deaths of US soldiers and Iraqis does not meet the standard for impeachment.
Quote : | "- tried to uphold conservative values " |
Republicans have both houses of congress, the executive branch and a conservative lean on the supreme court. If they can't overturn abortion and ban gay marriage now, they never will. They should stop using this hatemongering platform to get elected, because even if they do get elected they won't do anything about it.
Quote : | "- appointed conseravtive judges that will uphold the constitution" |
I've agreed with some of their judgements, but there is plenty of unconstitutional stuff going around, like having military spy agencies (NSA,CIA) collect phone call records and internet use records for all Americans. I would like to see what the constitution says about arresting protestors and dissenters outside of Bush appearances.
Quote : | "- supports anti-terrorist movements around the world" |
I actually support his pro anti-terror platform. I don't see why we so adamantly support Israel though, I'm sure this is a point of contention that has brought alot of grief to our doorstep.
