My mom's birthday is August 1st. I'm trying to figure out a good gift for her that I can afford.
I've thought about a professional massage for her. We just recently got our old house on the market and she did most of the painting, etc for it. So something like that might be nice for her, or something else in a spa.
She lives in Greensboro and I'm going to be going home next weekend (so I'll have to give her whatever gift early). Ideas?  7/23/2006 10:07:58 PM

oooh thanks. that store and beleza are two places i've been meaning to visit. this might be a good chance.

Indigo the Salon is very good. A little on the pricey side. They started as mainly a hair place, but added massages and facials and the like around last year. 7/23/2006 10:33:13 PM |

I have heard Balance Day Spa is a great spa in Gboro. Its off Battleground Ave heading towards downtown in a shopping center near Lawndale.

bump, more suggestions.
i looked at that spa's website ^. $40 for 30 min isn't horrible, but I'm thinkin that's all i can afford (b/c i doubt my brothers would think this idea is any good, meaning it's all me.)
