anyone seen them live before?

they used to be one of my favorite bands, but ive lost track..

havent really bought anything since how could something so little.....

a portable model of and how memory works are still two of my favorite records of all time.

well, they are playing in philly in september with owen, and im thinking of going..

the only thing holding me back is that ive got to work at 7am the next day and i suspect its going to be chock full of emo kids and the gays. ehehe

[i only live ~30 miles from philly]

how are their shows? it seems as if their shows could either be phenominal, or really really bad.

yes, the brothers kinsella were orig. members of cap'n jazz and joan of arc.

mike kinsella has been in and out with his contributions to the band, along with his own creations of american football and owen.. then back with orig. cap'n jazz members for the owls.

theyve been a highly collaborative band for their studio recordings thoughout their career despite the idea that many hold that it was basically tim kinsella's little opus.

i was just agreeing that none of us have seen them before. i have seen a couple kinsella bands before, though, and they were always damn fine. go to the show. you'll probably enjoy it if you like the band so much.
