Need somehting that has a close design to one of the smaller xbox controllers. Just for elder scrolls IV and I think that it would be fun with a controller.

Just realized that I put this in tech talk, but now that i have your attention,

Thinking of just getting my hands on an old xbox controller and moding it by splicing a usb cable to the controller. found this,

Yeah, I've spliced a few xbox controllers for this purpose before. It's a great little project, and easy as hell.

If you don't want to mod an existing controller, you can just get one of the USB 360 controllers. I think they're like $50 but not sure.

The USB 360 controllers are $40.

Pretty pricey, but you won't find a better controller anywhere.

^eh...I have a 360 controller I bought for using on the PC, and to be completely honest, it's nice, but one of the best PC controllers I ever used, and a hella lot cheaper, was a PS2 controller with one of those USB adapter thingies.
