Depends on what I'm going for...
-Lake Wheeler is nice and close to take the dog to
-Gaston/Falls/Jordan are all about the same for boating to me (although my friend who wakeboards like it's his job would much rather be at Falls)
-I'd go to Norman if it wasn't farther than Gaston
