Let me just say that I grew up loving the SCUMM games. When I got a hold of SCUMMVM a few years ago I was fucking thrilled. The only games I've really replayed are Indy 4, DOTT and Full Throttle (my fav). I tried playing The Dig but god knows that game is just awful. Anyone else a fan?

i posted a WTB in classifieds like a week ago trying to get these, but then I just found out about the magic of SCUMMVM, and just now replayed DOTT. I'm doing Indy and the Fate of Atlantis currently.

These games are so fucking great.

grim fandango and monkey island 4, the 3D ones, were just as awesome.

I could never get into Monkey 4. I dunno, I just felt like it was a cheap product. Grim Fandango is my favorite LA game.

Does Sam and Max count as SCUMM? That and Indy 4 provided a lot of fun for me early on.

Yeah it plays Sam and Max. I fucking adore that game.

The scumm lucasarts games should be easy to find online via news groups.

I play them on my xbox using scummvm-x.

I was put off by Monkey Island 4 at first by the graphics

but the thing is a solid game.

The Curse of Monkey Island is still my favorite.

Never played Monkey Island. Is the humor on par with DOTT and Sam and Max?

I LOVE these games with a passion.

Favorites: Zak McKraken (one of the best games evar), Indy 4, Full Throttle, Maniac Mansion + DOTT, Samn + Max.

and probably the all time favorite: Indy 3 (the last crusade). You're not l33t til you've played + beaten this game. It was HARD.

Monkey Island Humor is definatley on par, though probably not the same.

Never spend more than $30 on a computer game.
