it's probably not still under warranty is it? if u got it in 2002 and u have a 4 year warranty it might still be covered. the reason i ask cause if it is still under warranty then u could bring it to the bookstore and we could get a new HDD for it. 7/27/2006 8:24:33 PM |

go to the IBM website, i dont remeber exatly what we did as the guy at the bookstore did it for me, but there was a place where oyu could type your machine type and serial number, and little other information and it should tell you what warrenty you have on it as well as some other stuff too 7/27/2006 8:26:41 PM |

i wont be there till 12 due to class. but u can ask for jacob or jackson and they'll be able to help u just as much.
btw..call IBM tonight and get a case reference number and everythin all ready with them so that u dont have to do that tomorrow. be sure to bring that # with ya.
