Venus razor blades are freaking expensive (kind of a duh statement). It's above $8 at Target, I think above $9 at Food Lion. I'd check WalMart but it's a longer drive. But if it's lower enough I'll make that drive.
I just really wish I had had the money to stock up on them when I saw a pack of 4 cartridges for only $4 (!!!) at one of those dollar stores (Family Dollar or Dollar General). 7/27/2006 9:18:44 PM |

I'm not ready to get a membership for one of those places. I don't need stuff in bulk enough to merit it right now. 7/27/2006 9:24:28 PM |

Um no. My legs are sensitive and I get razor burn if the blades' moisturizing strips are gone. I have to shave practically every day b/c I pretty much get stubble by the end of a day, and I have to wear shorts for my job. So I go through a box of 4 in like 2 weeks. I'm using that lotion that makes your hair grow finer and less frequently but its effects aren't too noticeable. I can't just let my hair grow for waxing until winter comes and I'm wearing pants for work. 7/27/2006 9:33:31 PM |

Do you not know anyone with a membership? I think I got a pack of 20something blades for $27 or something like that at Sam's once.

Pretty sure my only friend with one is my Philadelphia friend. But SouthPaw12's post inspired me to Google for some prices and I just did a "Buy It Now" on eBay - 24 for $29.99, free shipping. 7/27/2006 10:32:34 PM |

That's pretty good. You made me decide I should go get some at Sam's, but now I think I'll check ebay too. Good call. 7/27/2006 10:34:01 PM |

have you tried using the schick quatro? I used to swear by Venus, but the quatro is so much better. the blades last longer and the moisturizing strip is better 7/29/2006 11:47:15 AM |
