I live on the outer banks, and I saw a spider outside of the Lost Colony tongiht building a web. The spider was about an inch in diameter (the legs were not stretched out). It had yellow & black striped forelegs which turned a translucent red before connecting to the body, which looked kinda stocky & furry. It also had unusually long ...fangs (or whatever those tooth-like appendages are called). The light was poor so I was unable to get a decent picture on my phone.
I know its not a writing (garden) spider, but am unsure beyond that, and I didn't think wolf spiders built webs. Unfortuately, google was about as helpful as a third nut. Anyone have a clue, or could post a possiblity in a pic?

damn, gg. I dont remember the bright yellow body, but that could have been the light, and the legs are right.
