Wondering if anyone had a used womens hiking pack- Im 5'3 if that helps-- Im going on about a 4/5 day hike so i would need more than a day pack! I dont want an old nasty one but if anyone has one and is not using it-- I cant spend too much but would love to see a picture- and talk about a price Thanks 8/1/2006 7:58:09 PM |

By the way ... I think the State Recreation center (by the gym) loans out camping equipment ... give it a try .... 8/2/2006 10:36:43 AM |

Yeah, they definetly rent out equipment for really cheap, and the stuff actually isnt bad. As long as you have a student ID, and arent going to start packing regularly, it is cheaper to just rent a pack from NCSU. I think it is like $2 for a weekend. 8/2/2006 12:17:10 PM |

in order to check out equipment from outdoor adventures storehouse you have to have either a summer gym membership, be taking summer classes, or bring a friend along that meets either of the two previous requirements, also last day we're open for the summer is the 11th, won't be able to check out equipment between the end of summer session and the start of the new school year. http://ncsu.edu/campus_rec/Outdoor_Adventures/Storehouse.htm hope that helps 8/2/2006 12:55:40 PM |
