And from what I understand, pwnt is moving in with him. Now NOTHING will get done because of all the drunken shenanigans going on now!
To weld sheetmetal, you really need shielding gas; I have found out the hard way that flux core doesn't do thin sheetmetal well without significant burnthrough. It's because of the polarity you have to use. Reverse it, and there's not enough penetration to float the slag very well.
And what sucks? I don't have argon or Unamix or CO2.
