i just replaced all the balljoints tie rod ends, and pittman and idler arm about a month ago, and a top balljoint borke when i was pulling out of the driveway. those motherfuckers at carquest better replace that shit for free and press it in for me cause i don't feel like doing it, and replace everything else that was damaged, i know at least a brake line is ripped. i coulda been killed if that shit had happened on the road. it was a moog balljoint too, just twisted right in half like aluminum,

yeah, carquest pressed it in for me, they will also be replacing the brake hose and caliper, and rufunding the $300 for all 4 balljoints to cover the cost of the wheel, and paying me $50 and hour in labor claims for me to repair it to avoid a lawsuit, and delivering the shit to my house today, they pissed off the wrong nigga

I had a shop replace my cv joints when I was in HS. The next day I kinda noticed a little popping every now and then. Picked up a friend at his apartment and went over a speed bump and POP my wheel was laying under my car. Somebody forgot a bolt that holds the ball joint into the control arm. They had to replace the entire half shaft, break lines and strut on that side.

But damn yours just broke...they need to do a recall before someone is killed

At least it wasnt a mopar ball joint. By far the worst design i think i've ever seen for a lower ball joint....broke on me while driving down the road, and nearly bent my tire underneath the whole car.
