Carson Daly sucks. This is a proven fact.

However, his show has gotten a lot better over the past six months or so, as he has completely adopted the David Letterman style of comedy. He just drank bottles of olive oil, for instance. Last week, instead of doing a monologue, he had the monologue jokes scroll across the screen at high speed and suggested that if you actually enjoyed his monologues, you should Tivo the segment and read it at normal speed at a later time.

Discuss.

I find it very possible that no one else has continued to watch this show because it's still pretty terrible. However, as a huge Letterman fan, I find it intriguing.

No need for a NTLB/IBTL.

It has gotten better & I agree that it does seem like they are going the Letterman route. Joe Firstman is a pretty good house band too. I watch it sometimes, but then again, what else is on at 1:30?

^^um, wrong. he's definitely biting letterman, specifically older (not his age, but him from years ago), cooler, funnier letterman.
