it was really interesting to watch how little the north pole is now compared to 25 years ago 8/7/2006 9:19:00 AM |

I turned it on just as the segment was going off. It was a rerun, because I remember seeing that video game nerd segment when I saw the whole who a couple of months ago.
It was very interesting, and scary to imagine what could happen. Tom Brokaw's 2 hour documentary on the Discovery Channel about global warming was good, too.
BTW, global warming just doesn't exist: http://mediamatters.org/items/200607310005 8/7/2006 10:13:20 AM |

I always wondered how many trucks and fuel they had to use to carry the footage and the camera crews to make the global warming documentaries.
I also enjoy the MTV think campaign that asks us to think about the environment. The response that always comes to mind is Officer Barbrady from South Park, "Yes, I'll get right on that - with thinking." 8/7/2006 10:25:42 AM |

haha, I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the Brokaw documentary on TDC. They were flying up north in the arctic in a helicopter to watch the polar bears, all while saying 'by burning fossil fuels we are destroying their habitat.' 8/7/2006 11:08:20 AM |
