if that got me to and from work for 2.5 days on a single gallon of diesel and had a good sound system, i would drive it. $1 a day commute < $8 a day.

Who gives a good goddamn with fuel mileage like that? I wouldn't give a shit if it took me 20 seconds to get to 60.

And yes, I'd rock it. With all the money I'd save in fuel, I could keep a fast one in the garage for the weekends if I did so desire.

couldn't you buy it and then put in a turbocharger?

that should bring top speed to about 120-130 and cut down the 0-60 time to 7-8 sec.

and it would still do at least 100 mpg.

but, 0-60 in 10 seconds is amazing for 20 hp. guess it is very light.
