It is entirely possible to only do one homework assignment the entire semester and still make a passing grade. My D is a testemant to that. If you aren't trying to get into grad school or some hot shot job, the time spent doing his homework is not worth any benefit you may receive from doing it.

i didn't think the class was that bad, but i found that doing the homework was what helped me understand the concepts. the homework can be a pain in the ass but that shouldn't be new to anyone in engineering taking a 400 level mae course
