what about donating your car to poor people? I forget the organization, but you donate cars to less fortunate people. What i would like to know is, does this org. have mechanics that put these cars into working order? Or are they given out as is? Thanks for any input 9/5/2006 1:16:36 PM |

what i'm wondering is, is do they have people that volunteer to work on these cars if they have some running issues. I want to gain some car-fixing experience in my spare time, and i figured this could be a good volunteer-experience tool for me. 9/5/2006 2:49:59 PM |

Most times you gotta pay for parts and the labor is free, since the students are supposed to learn from it. And you sign a contract saying if they fuck it up worse, then whoops. If you're the one looking for the experience, you can try a community college/tech program. 9/5/2006 6:56:28 PM |
