Anyone know where I could get some Z rated tires put on if I bought them on the internet? Places like Merchant's and Goodyear said they won't put them on, even for a high fee, because its not "their tire." I can save like $200+ by buying tires off tirerack.com, but I can't find anyone to put them on if I were to buy them. Walmart normally does for ~$15/tire, but they can't do Z rated tires because they are so tight on the wheel......any help

I hate walmart and all there fucking excuses for just being shitty technicians. I had them put on a set of 245/70/16's (stock size) on a grand cherokee once, and the guy wouldn't do it ("they're too big, it'll heat up your transfer case too much"). I had to show him on the Jeep website they were the stock size.

They are also slow as shit. 6 hours, 4 tires to mount and balance, two cars in the shop, 4 technicians.

/rant

yeah I know, just go somewhere else. and now i do.

What is the tire size? I can possibly do it for you for a lot less than any other shop.

Any place should be able to use/ have stick on weights. If you are worried they may use others, just specify what you want.

go to discounttiredirect.com pick a tire, go to discount tire store in either raleigh/cary and theyll put tires for $11 per tire. they have good prices and people are ok.

also hubcap heaven in cary behind pure gold is good. think he charges similar money.
