I got some comments in my computer configuration thread a few days ago but I would like a little more information. I am looking for good video editing software for windows that costs less than $100 or so. I have sonic MyDVD and I am not sure if I had problems with it because of my old computer or because it is bad software. I could not get the video I shot in widescreen on my camcorder to display as widescreen on my computer durring editing. I will probably try this software again when I get the new computer but I am interested to know your opinions of other software. Please note that I would like to edit and create widescreen videos. Thanks.

- As I did a little more research it looks like I need the MyDVD Premier version to do 16:9, I only have the essentials version.
