ive got a 1.5ghz celeron in okay condition, dvd-rom, 512mb ram, 20gb hdd, 14.1 display, battery lasts about an hour and a half, ill sell for 350

well dell and toshiba for a start...and they sell them new at that price.

he should easily be able to find that for under $400

synapse hit it....use that $400 and get a decent new laptop from either of those companies...toshiba's models on that entry end are actually pretty solid performers overall
