anyone come up with any good mods for a mac mini? im trying to think of something to do about putting it through a tv, but this tv has coaxial right now. yeah, ancient, i know, but id like to make it into an entertainment system w/ the bigger, old tv.

u could always take a sledge to it...think i saw that on youtube once. shit looked badass.

you'll probably have to get an external TV tuner card. I don't think much of anything "extra" fits into these rigs.

Actually, the output of those things is already a TV friendly DVI output. They probably make a DVI to Coax adapter, but it will look like shit.

Get a new TV man. Coax? Are you kidding me, not even an RCA in?

Actually, I rigged it up. Took a couple of adapters, but it works. It's just temporary.

But thanks anyway

Yeah, the Mini's have a composite output through an adapter... just run that to an RF Modulator, and you're good.
