My guess, honestly, is that they were somehow involved in the sex slave trade, which could've led to her death in any number of plausible scenarios.

apparently a lot of holes in the guys story...like he said he picked jon benet up from school the day she died but apparently it happened over her christmas break...and he said he drugged her to have sex with her but autopsy showed no drugs...and he says the murder was an accident but her skull was crushed and she was strangled in addition...

his dna didn't match that on the girl's body. charges have been dropped.

but, he is to be brought up on charges of child pornography from 2001 which he evaded at that time by leaving the country.

still, i don't get why he said he did it. some people are saying to get out of potential jailing in thailand, but i don't remember reading anywhere that he was in trouble in thailand.

also, you can see the main story on cnn, bbc, etc, but they don't say one thing: did HE say anything after the dna didn't match, like "got you suckers" or "thanks for the free plane ride", or "i am my own twin, that's why the dna didn't match"*** etc. shouldn't he be charged with making false statements?
