The website keeps looping between registration info and info about how you got there so I can't get a key - anyone mind offering theirs so I can try it out?

Punkbuster is a BITCH... If you have anything that might remotely make your computer perform better running, it will kick you, ban you AND mark your machine as a hacked machine for ANY other game that uses punkbuster.

I'm too lazy to read.

Is this a free retail add-on that adds MP functionality or is this a free, don't have to own the original, standalone game?

Is this the official "I didn't read the first post" thread?

Well I read things like:

Quote :
"F.E.A.R. Combat users will be able to play against the owners of the retail version of F.E.A.R. as well as the other F.E.A.R. Combat users."

Which hint at it being free for everyone, even for people that don't own the retail version. Then I read things like:

Quote :
"F.E.A.R. Combat is the complete multiplayer component of F.E.A.R. and includes all the updates, additional official maps and additional official game modes all in one downloadable file."

Which hint at it being a free add-on for the retail version. Just posed a straight question in hopes that I would get a straight answer.

ok, so i finally installed and played it last night. it was ok, but def not different from every other FPS online gameplay out there with the exception of being able to slide and jump kick... still had fun but the damn nades never go where they are supposed to. I prolly just suck at throwing them .
