Have this problem on more than one system...basically if you click a link for a website in Outlook for example, it will not open Internet Explorer to the link...if I manually open a copy of IE and then click the link, the links will work...any ideas why it doesn't automatically open?

is it set as the "default internet browser"

yes, and the box "Internet Explorer should check to see whether its the default browser" is checked as well

and i believe the two systems having this issue dont have Firefox, Netscape or any other browsers installed on them

try looking around here maybe

1. Open Explorer (just open My Documents)
2. Select Tools and then Folder Options
3. Select the File Types tab
4. Selection Extension: (NONE), File Type: HyperText Transfer Protocol

maybe something to do with DDE under the advanced section

also File Type: Hyper Text Transfer Protocol with Privacy
