Just looking over the preseason usa today poll on espn.com and noticed that duke actually got more votes than us. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankings?pollId=2&seasonYear=2006&weekNumber=1 very last one under receiving votes.

Seriously man the SAME EXACT THING happened in the AP Poll...

This shit is well known that the old ball coach still votes for Duke.

i hate ND as much as the next guy

but how do they drop 2 spots in a win?

especially when everybody has been sucking GT's cock all summer

cause USC and Auburn are better teams

but usually that wouldnt matter, being how gay college football polls are and how much impact preseason ranking can have on postseason bowls

I love how CFN has Tennessee #7, winning the SEC, and going to the Sugar Bowl after one game haha

when everybody in the sports media was saying (after the Tenn Cal game) something to the effect of "Tennessee pulled the big upset"...I was thinking more along the lines of "Somebody fucked up in their preseason rankings"

^^ but considering they have to play: Florida, Georgia, LSU, Alabama and South Carolina still...

^ no, that wasnt it. We were HORRIBLE last year, and it wasnt a given that we were going to come out of it for this year...

and we just picked on this loser to start the game, he couldnt even begin to cover Meachem, and after it was 14-0, the rest of Cal gave up:

^well even though miami won a game or two more than you all did last year, people had some type of faith that they would turn things around...oh well, hindsight is ted williams

in fairness they did have Jay Cutler

but its one thing to lose to Vandy...its another to lose to Vandy the same year as a miraculous comeback to beat LSU, one of the best teams in the nation over the last few years

^i hope not. i don't want to be ranked unless we are undefeated after the FSU game, b/c then i would be fairly confident that our team is actually good. beating a MAC team (albeit one of the better ones) and a C-USA team shouldn't be worthy of a ranking in the Top 25. even if we are undefeated after beating BC shouldn't be Top 25 from the way BC looked at CMU.

I am a Miami fan and all....

But I find it absolutely batshit crazy insane that MIAMI is ranked ahead of TENNESSEE

Especially after the hate-fucking the Vols gave Cal last week.
