So what is the average price for a single bedroom apartment around the NCSU area.

mine was 450. id say 400-550 is normal. lil more if you live somewhere nice.

Depends on the size of the place naturally.

If it's small (~5-600 sq. ft.) like the ones at Ivy Commons, are gonna run 400-450.

A bigger one (~700 sq. ft.) is more about 500-550.

Of course not having a washer/dryer/dishwasher will make it cheaper.

they were 425 like 2 yrs. ago. If you're paying 500, you're paying too much.

In Fayettenam the average is about $575-650.

when I was in the market it was higher by a few hundred... but then again I was only looking places like Ivy Chase

at an apartment complex ... 500-600

its smarter to just find a 2 bd duplex for 600
