ive put myself on plot blackout.

i read so much about OoT, that I knew the entire plot till the time fast forward. i have no problem w/ videos and images....but I want to suprised by characters, twists and events.

I've had this shit preordered since last June. Last. Fucking. June. Of '05. I am SO ready for this game to finally come out.

I preordered the GC version, though. Given the news about the sword controls, does anyone think I should bother getting the Wii version too? It could be pointless, but then again a little redundancy never hurt anyone.

I only saw a couple of demo movies, like how to fight one of the bosses, but that's about all. But Nintendo's been pretty good about keeping a lid on this game anyway. It's just as well; I read so many spoilers for Metroid Prime 2 I pretty much knew everything I was suppose to do before I even picked up a copy. I'm not gonna make the same mistake twice.

I think I'll wait for the Wii version. I'll probably wait until Super Mario Galaxy comes out and buy this game, Zelda, and a Wii, then take a semester off from school to be able to devote every waking hour to them both.

Ok, um.....has anyone actually though how the sword control would actually physically work. Is it me or arnt you supposed to have to hit buttons in fights let alone use the entire controller as a freaking sword.

relatively true. there has been some plot news, like about shape-shifting, the wolf thing or whatever, but that info came a while back, nothing on the scale of how some games are spoiled.

ill truly be shocked if the game does make it by december though. they keep adding new shit.

dont fucking blaspheme in here. that game was god awful. it ripped off 5% of OoT and made it into a full title. fucking zelda has been imitated 10 different ways per system, and to compare the original with that trite title is fucking awful.

EB Games still won't let customers switch reserves for the gamecube version to the wii version.

Nintendo does this every generation and I never understand why. They wait until the last minute to name a release date and price, preventing retailers from taking preorders on games and systems. I would gladly throw hundreds of dollars on a wii, games, and controllers this minute, but Nintendo is preventing me from doing so.

I guess Josh#s forgot his meds today. Relax buddy, I was just saying there is a striking similarity bw SCREENSHOTS. You could probably superimpose a shot from SoC and it would overlap perfectly.

None of us have played the game yet, so obviously I'm not implying any further comparison.

I talked to a dude at EB and he said it was because Twilight Princess wasn't on the list of Wii games that you could pre-order yet. He said that once they get an official release date or whatever, you will be able to.
