yeah, there is an active LGBT student group. they're planning some things to kick off the year:

from the listserv: "..There will be a welcome back social on the 28th of August from 12 - 1pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Honors Village Commons Area..."

throughout the year they do activities and the like. i used to be involved a couple years ago, now i just keep tabs.

I saw a BGLA meeting while at state, but never got really involved with them. They seemed liked a good group of people though and my fraternity Mu Beta Psi ran an event and got the bgla and dlp (the gay frat) to sign up to help with DragFEST where we raised money half for Mu Beta Psi's annual music scholarship and half for a gay charity last fall. There was a big turn out and Mu Beta Psi is trying to make it an annual thing (don't know if it will happen this fall or not). MBP is currently working a new website which has a section on Dragfest (as well as MusicFEST & some other stuff we do), but they haven't got the info up there yet. But if you check back in a few weeks there might be something of interest there for ya.
