{for amusement only of course}

Alright, had a few other threads out there, but need to condense this shit.

Starting with Week 1:
http://www.scoresandodds.com/scores.asp?date=8/29/2006&league=1&week=35

So far... really like Ole Miss -3 BIG

also like USC -8.5
and TCU -7.5

Notre Dame -7.5

(is there an easier pick all year right out of the gate?)

Ask Auburn about G tech in openers. With Reggie Ball and CJ, they have a home run threat to score a TD from anywhere on the field. Plus, it's in Hotlanta, I would def. take G Tech. There D will not be walked. And even if Notre Dame is up two scores (14), G tech could score in the final seconds to close it to 7.

I might have to take Texas -41 against N.Texas...

Its a ton, but you KNOW texas will get in the 40s, just a question if N.Texas will score anything

took em hahaha, N.Texas was horrible against the run last year, and I see Texas using a lot of Charles and Young right down their throats

Gailey said that CJ is the most talented receiver he has EVER seen....hands down.

GT has a solid defense this year. Look for them in the ACC title game

I see Notre Dame being another flash in the pan, just like after Tyrone Willingham's first season. Notre Dame's reign of terror is over.

but then again, you are a fucking idiot. Look at the two teams before you just spit out useless dribble. There was very little talent on that Willingham team. Compare position by position. That team had NOTHING on the current squad

I think ND will cover but I'm not putting money on it

It could go either way and why lock up money on a future in the first place if its not a sure shot

yeah, not a big futures bet guy.

Although for a general season outlook, I do like SD State as a minor break out team, spread covering wise

i dont think they'd give us that many points

- we're not supposed to be as good this year as last year
- app is not your average d1-aa school
- didnt app "only" lose to LSU last year by like 17 or 24?

If in fact state wins, there is no way they would set the line at 24.5. vegas would crumble on that game if that was the line. If, and I am not certain but I don't think they do lines for d1aa games, but if they did state might be a 10 point favorite, but probably 9.5.

no just explaining why we wouldnt be favored by 24.5 points

but you are welcome to modify any of those you want when your team can fill a 100,000+ seat stadium but cant even go bowling

CFN has their Fearless Predictions up for the ACC:

Miami 19 ... Florida State 14 ... Line: Miami -3.5

Like I said, I LOVE the Under 41

Boston College 28 ... Central Michigan 13 ... Line: Boston College -13.5

Clemson 45 ... Florida Atlantic 7 ... Line: Clemson -33

NC State 37 ... Appalachian State 10 ... Line: No Line

Wake Forest 27 ... Syracuse 16 ... Line: Wake Forest -15.5

Rutgers 27 ... North Carolina 24 ... Line: North Carolina -5.5
would be SO sweet

Georgia Tech 23 ... Notre Dame 20 ... Line: Notre Dame -7.5

There are a lot of great forums with other handicappers out there for free where you can discuss games in depth with people who have been doing this for years....

http://www.sharpactionsports.com make sure to use my reference jhunter1382

or http://www.cappingthegame.com use my reference wolfpack17

I don't get anything out of using my references but i know the owners of these sites well and they like to see me bring in people....

if you are on sharpactionsports, the good people are MREAST, MAKERS, SCOOTER, Winningwand, primarydrive, and of course jimmyc87...there are others too that are good, but these are the guys I have known the longest...

if you are on cappingthegame.com check out fondybadger, collegekingrex, horses, soonerbs, troystacks, frankthebank, carolinablue and others...you can private message me at either one of those sites since i rarely ever check brentroad....hope you enjoy them and good luck this season....also check out http://www.mansion.com for an unreal promotion they are running for the first nfl game...
