Donte Stallworth to Eagles Mark Simoneau and a 4th round pick in '07 to Saints
I think this will really help the Eagles, as McNabb will actually have a #1 receiver. They are supposedly thinking about signing Stephen Davis as well. 8/28/2006 5:56:47 PM |

Davis isn't much of a factor at this point anyway, but would give the Eagles a power back (even if he is only part time. Mahe, Moats, and Bruce Perry are worthless. Buckhalter is mediocre when healthy (not often). 8/28/2006 6:04:05 PM |

Just gives Stallworth another chance to be a huge fantasy flop.

THEY MADE THIS TRADE BECAUSE IT BENEFITS REGGIE BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Quote : | "With one fewer experienced wideout in the offense, don't be shocked to see head coach Sean Payton line up Reggie Bush in the slot and use him as a receiver in certain sets. The rookie's value had started to soar even before this transaction occurred, and the chance for additional receptions makes him a solid second-rounder in seasonal formats." |
Because Reggie Bush has SO much experience playing WR. 8/29/2006 12:03:39 AM |

he caught plenty of passes in college
When Lendale was in the backfield, Reggie was in the slot
When Duece is in the backfield, Reggie'll be in the slot 8/29/2006 12:19:17 AM |

The eagles HAD to do someting for WR.
having todd pinkston as your number 1 is like throwing a mediocre college recieving corps out there. 8/29/2006 8:32:21 AM |

Pinkston wasnt going to be the #1... Brown was, and probably still will be 8/29/2006 10:14:49 AM |
