So i got this from a pawn shop and it was working great when I tested it. I come home from a soccer game unplugged it so I could move it around where I wanted it and for some reason the green light isn't on. I've tested the speakers using a male to male to my computer and they seem to work. I think the sub isn't powering on for some reason. How would i fix this? Anyone a speaker genius and want to check this out?

well checking the klipsch forum i found out that other people had problems with this too and took a look inside of the sub . The resistors they said that tend to get burnt out were R26 and R12. Sure enough both are bad. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy some resistors tomorrow. Anyone want to solder 2 resistors in for me since i don't have a solder gun? $5.00 to anyone who's up for the task.

The leakage is probably just oil. It should be fine if you clean it properly/

oil leaking from a cap won't have to be cleaned because it would interfere with the circuit, as the dielectric is by defintion non-conductive... however, you will need to replace that capacitor because it is probably out of spec and in the process you will need to clean the oil off to get a good connection with the solder
