of course i would watch a bigtime game on regular cable but if i have a choice between two mediocore games, 1 hd and 1 non-hd, then im going hd everytime...ill still even go hd if its a shitty game.

and yes, twc does suck balls because they dont have espn2...i wanted espn2 for the world cup but they wont get it along with espnu because of some contract they signed with disney (aka espn)...

They all have their problems, but TWC is the worst. Only ONE new HD channel in TWO YEARS? Pretty much every other cable company has a better record than that. They cant add new channels without raising rates, yet their rates are some of the highest in the nation and they are reporting record profits (over $1 BILLION last quarter). Example: Starz has offered StarzHD carriage FREE OF CHARGE, only on the condition that Starz On Demand be included free with any Starz package. TWC wants to charge extra for Starz OD, so we have neither of these channels. With the NFL Network, NFLN simply asking to include the channel in the expanded basic package...granted that means everyone pays for it, and maybe thats wrong, but TWC should have thought of that 3 years ago when they could have added the channel for pennies. TWC wants to add it to their sports tier...the line is that everyone shouldnt have to pay for it....but the truth is if they put it there, they can probably double the price of the sports tier AND probably triple the subscribers....its all about money. This is the same company that removed NFLN from systems they acquired from Adelphia even though the FCC requires 30 days notice before removal of cable channels...their reason was that the channel did harm to their customers.

Check the chart here...only ONE cable provider has less HD channels than TWC....ONE.

Ive been ready to switch to Dish for quite awhile (which has over TWICE as many HD channels as TWC), but apparently there is a big issue with their DVR and TiVO is suing...not ready to switch and then not have a DVR, so that plan is on hold. There is a rumor that TWC will have ESPN2HD and ESPNU within 60 days, but I doubt its much more than a rumor, and even so, its too little too late.
