Since the old topics have been purged, I need to know the order to watch Babylon 5. Trying to get it straight on NetFlix. As I understand it, it goes like this:

Babylon 5: The Gathering
Babylon 5: Season 1 (6-Disc Series)
Babylon 5: Season 2 (6-Disc Series)
Babylon 5: Season 3 (6-Disc Series)
Babylon 5: Season 4 (6-Disc Series)
Babylon 5: Season 5 (6-Disc Series)

Where I get confused is where do the damn movies fall into place? You have Legend of the Rangers, Thirdspace, In The Beginning, The River of Souls, and the spin-off Crusade. So how the hell are you supposed to watch them chronologically? Thanks for the help.

Also in Stargate, I'm in Season 5 right now. At the end of Season 7, Atlantis gets added in, right? So I should watch the Season 8 of SG-1 and Season 1 of Atlantis at the same time then, right?

Sorry just can't get the final word on this shit from the intarweb.

Just scratch off Thirdspace and never watch it (pretty much the same for the 5th season)
Make sure you watch In The Beginning after the 4th Season is finished.

Crusade and Legend of the Rangers just after 5th season. River of Souls...errr pretty much anytime i guess.

Haha what were ya gonna say synapse?? I don't care, I have never really tickled my sci-fi geek funnybone before, as I only ever watched Star Trek shows on TV. Now that I have time and a damn NetFlix account, the possibilities are unlimited. I hate starting a show halfway in or catching it out of sequence. Just fucking ruins it for me.

It started with The Gathering which is a 2hr fairly shitty pilot movie-ep.

Most of the first season is unbearable but by the second half it improves a lot
and the 2,3,4th seasons definitely need to be watched in order or you will just fuck everything up.
