haha, this shit was funny. I was sitting next to the App section when our team came down thru the SEZ part of the stadium into the game and all the App fans were like

After the game I overheard an old man (App fan) say "Damn, they had like 80 gathousand people in this place."

Oh yea and, I see Reggie Herring on tv coaching against USC.

Well, hopefully his defense will do better than last year's 750-something yards allowed to USC.

Their team was definitely a bit rattled when they first came out. A false start before running a play, and then snapping the ball over the quarterbacks head and into the endzone. I was amused.

They were taking pictures of our team coming down through the endzone and taking pics of Vaughn towers, NEZ and the whole stadium. I overheard alot of App fans mentioning how huge the stadium looked and talking about how great it would be if they won the game. (This was before the game, of course)

When our team came out, there was like a row of App fans just standing there with mouths open and staring at the players. There was one App 'tard who was holding up a yellow shirt in one of the player's face but that was the only instance of "cockiness"

I was pretty much on the field, so I could see the players up close. That first kickoff and offensive play, the App players were TREMBLING. The only time besides this that I have seen the opposing team's players visibly intimidated on the field was Wake Forest in 2002.

The old man/App fan was a former Duke QB in the '70s. I think his name was Swet or something

Didn't arkansas lose by 60 points to USC last year? They said the first 4 plays USC ran all went for points.

i mean his style fit our team, but everyone was pissed about him leaving when I dont think it made that big of a deal. Word on the street is that he's not a very good recruiter. We did ok on D without him last year anyway, and I thought we even looked pretty good tonight. It was personel, not coaching in this case (imo).

bah. I suggest you lookup the meaning of the word "mastermind" before you (mis)use it.

Obviously the guy isnt a genius if he sucked balls last year at arkansas without 5 NFL players and some good underclassmen. Thats all I meant. Not looking for an argument.

I'm not your guy, but I was definitely yelling throw the ball because I was falling asleep in the freaking stands. I mean if Stone can't throw it, then I wanted to at least see someone else try. You can't get any better if you aren't at least trying. That was just dreadful to have to watch for a third straight year!

dude, with the talent we have at running back, i don't care if we run 80% of the time. if that bores you, don't come. i want to win games, and it sure as hell isn't going to happen because of stone's arm.

It isn't going to happen when Division 1-A linebackers lock their eyes every play on Brown or Baker and go up against our sorry excuse for an offensive line either. Let those guys get hit 100 times a game (exaggeration) every week and see how long they stay healthy. I'm just saying we have to at least have some kind of threat through the air.

^^ and it won't happen running 80% of the time. it wouldn't matter even if you run a two-back set with barry sanders and flash gordon.

The APP QB got hit the play before and his head hit the ground pretty hard. That happened right infront of me. He was a little slow to get up. I thought he would for sure have a concussion. I think that's why he threw up. Then my guess would be that the running back started puking becuase the QB was puking....

It was really interesting having it happen right in front of us
