Asking $500
http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3278&navigator=4 "Sigma 14mm F2.8 EX ASPHERICAL HSM MSRP: $1120.00 USD Ultra wide angle lens with large aperture" asking $500
This is a very solid lens. It's as good as the Nikon 14mm f/2.8 but considerably cheaper (the Nikon sells for about $1400). Good condition, shows some wear but nothing that affects the performance, the front and rear elements are clean, fungus free, the focus ring turns smoothly, comes with front and rear caps. This is a very very wide and bright lens, great for shooting low lighting situations. It's excellent for landscapes and buildings because it has almost no distortion, straight lines remain straight with this lens. It also focuses in just an inch or two away from the front element so it can be used for wide-angle macros.

^ What kind of trade did you have in mind? If you're looking to trade a lens I'm not really considering too many lenses at this point. I'm looking at the Nikkor 17-35mm, Nikkor 28mm f/1.4, and one of the brighter telephotos. 9/6/2006 1:14:56 PM |
